   Re: Avoiding I-35. 14 years ago. Over the years, I35 has grown more crowded. It's past the time when it should be three lanes in each direction all the way between Dallas & Austin. In several stretches of highway, traffic in the right (slow) lane will be doing 60 mph while traffic in the fast lane is racing by at 80 mph or more.

Turn Right on Hwy 454 (go about 4 miles) Turn Right onto Hwy 1 (approximately 8 miles) Turn Left on to HWY 12 east through Hollandale all the way to Belzoni.
