9. Re: Harris Teator vs Food Lion. 13 years ago. Better depends on you and your tastes. Food Lion is certainly less expensive and they carry most everything. Harris Teeter (being new stores) are newer and therefore cleaner. Harris Teeter carries more international foods, more organic foods.
