Negotiate your rate before you get into the taxi, and make sure it for everyone, not per person. Collectivo's run about every 15 - 30 minutes and they are van's. If you have much luggage, it won't fit in the collectivo, and you might have a child, or someone else sitting on/very close to you. It helps if you speak Spanish to take a collectivo.
There is a drop off near the venue for cabs, buses, seniors, etc. Whether Uber or just a family member dropping off the ticket holders makes no difference. The only issue will be traffic.
