Solutions: (a) have a UK friend add credits for you and settle-up later, (b) go to a 99P Store and refresh in cash. Bummer for me as I wanted to cal-fwd usa number to uk number to get critical calls while in London. However, call-fwd requires both phones to be active at the same time and the target phone accept the initial setup call.

Re: Best tourism sim card for UK and EU. 1 year ago. O2, Giff Gaff and Smarty are the only providers that still allow free roaming in the EU, as far as I know. Switzerland was never a part of that agreement, so you will have to pay roaming charges there, or use wifi. Reply.

    10. Re: Struggling to find an eSIM plan. 1 year ago. Another way to overcome this is to use a 4G/5G mobile wifi hotspot which are available for around 25USD. You can share that with different devices. Dozens on sites like eBay, Amazon and so on. A downside is an extra box to carry and charge/power.
