    I read those articles and I don't see any reference to contact lens solution being a medical necessity. If you go to the TSA website, under 3 -1--1 rules, you can type in the liquid you are questioning, it brings up many ways to say "contact solution", pick one, click search, it brings you back to the rules on 3 - 1 -1.
