Yes, this is a problem. We were in Portugal for a few weeks and had to get texts for 2FA; one bank would not allow e-mail authentication. I get it; text authentication is more secure and e-mail can be hacked, but in a global workspace it does not make sense that we will always have that phone and number with us.

Currently I'm trying to login to my Oyster account, but it's asking me to fill in my phone number to receive a text as extra security. TFL claims non UK numbers can be used, so I'm trying that but I'm not receiving any texts, so I cannot login to my account.
