Technology is such that direct links from rental companies are imbedded in OTA, airline & other rental booking channels so you don’t book a rental car when a location is closed.
After landing in Seattle, shuttle bus took us to the new building full of rental car companies, where is also Fox located. The price was quite higher, because of insurance and young driver fee, but nothing special. We also rented GPS, to travel to Canada. but they hadnt Canadian maps, so we gave it back.
Jan 30, 2024, 5:31 PM. We just came back from Arizona and went through wisecars which gave us a Fox rent a car. We are from Canada and our insurance was to allow more than one driver. We found this was not acceptable to Fox and charged us extra for my spouses ability to drive with insurance.
Do not rent from FOX rental. A number of hidden fees and you end up paying more than if you went with other leading rental companies. My initial estimates were supposed to be $350.00, but after all the hidden fees, we end up paying close to $600.00.
Answer 1,031 of 1,038: Has anyone ever used Fox rent a car? I'm heading to California in a few months and need a car. The price difference in cars between Fox and more well known companies is $150.
1. Upon booking the rental, it was stated that Fox had "Terminal service" at PTY, however it wasn't clear that Fox was an off-airport rental company at a hotel a couple miles away. 2. No one from Fox showed up at the airport to greet me. I wandered to the rental car counters in PTY but could not find a desk or a representative from Fox. 3.
