   After tax and fees the Hotwire total was $103. The coupon required a minimum spend of $100. After applying the coupon code TOUCHDOWN the total became $78. I paid and got the Hampton, as expected. Non- refundable rates on the Hilton site start at $144 plus tax. No problems here. Edited: 7 years ago.

   If you're absolutely sure you're not going to have to cancel for any reason (including travel problems, etc), and you're absolutely sure the prices aren't going to drop later (I can't remember the last time I didn't rebook on lower prices after my original bookings), and you're fine get the worst of the rack rooms (next to elevators, terrible views, etc) - then yes, Hotwire is fine.

   The "reviews" on the Hotwire site are from HW customers that have stayed at that particular property. It has nothing to do with Trip Advisor. When they say there are no reviews....that simply means that no HW customers have left a review. Which means.....I would avoid it. Your bank statement from the Hotwire sale will say, ALL SALES FINAL.

   Hello. I have a question about discount rate on Hotwire deals( hot deals(?)). I booked a room(5-Star) with stated price of $2,400 and paid $200 with 90% discount rate through Hotwire.
