If those are base rates, they seem a bit high, even with the codes (if it includes all the fees and taxes they are pretty good.) Those might be good rates for that week, but be sure to shop around to be sure. Report inappropriate content.

   Most car rental companies will not guarantee 4WD or AWD including Avis. If you want to be sure, you'll need to find a company that does have an 4WD/AWD category. Hertz does offer that at SLC but you'll pay dearly. The other angle you can take is to rent into an SUV category where the car types are 'usually' AWD (not always).

You can key drop back into a lock box, so you could pick up the car around 7am and drop it back any time.

There will be no additional charges unless. 1) You ask for additional services when picking up the car, such as changing insurance, asking for Serius Radio, upgrading to a different car type. 2) You may get billed if you use their fast pass on the car to use toll roads.
