Answer 1 of 9: Morning all. I am meeting two different people on Sunday 4th Sept at Heathrow, one arriving at 10.25am into Terminal 2, the other arriving at 10.30am into Terminal 5.
Answer 1 of 10: I have a long 7-hour layover in Terminal 5. My arrival and departing flights are at this terminal. I wanted to know if getting to other terminals is feasible - only for something to do and kill time.

A lot depends on your arrival time 0600 - 0900 (approx) is "peak" time for large, long hauls to arrive within a short time frame ( if you stand on the flight path you can literally see them coming in at 45 second intervals!

Underground trave is only free is you have an Oyster Card or contactless bank card you can use at the ticket barriers. Just follow the signs.
6. Re: Heathrow Terminal 5 to Terminal 3 - quickest option. If both flights are on the same ticket, definitely follow purple signs for Flight Connections to transfer by bus; it is much faster. Otherwise, if you have to transfer landside, the Heathrow Express train is free between terminals.
