    So a CDMA phone would be pretty useless. That said, there are some CDMA phones that have SIM cards, and I think you can add a SIM Card to use a GSM network. But using a SIM Card usually involves switching phone numbers (i.e. to a Canadian number). I think the answer is that I would assume the phone will not work here.
