15 years ago. Hi. I have made myself an expert on evaluation of rental car rates over the past 3 months. Now I cannot speak for Canadian AAA membership, but I know that I could save at least 10% on a posted rate. But, and there is a catch! You must watch carefully that they do not apply this savings to a "market" rate.
Look under their Car Rental Section to see if Hertz has any discount codes. I looked on-line for National rental car rates then I plugged in the codes that mousesavers.com provided and ran the on-line again and my rate went down. (I got a mid-size SUV for 3days for $134 - that is the final price including all taxes and fees and $9 per day carseat)
Answer 1 of 12: Does anyone know of current car rental discount codes? We want to rent a car in Orlando April 30 & drop off in Key West May 18. Thanks for any help. Current prices with most rentals are around $1200. Yikes!
4. Re: Rental Car discount codes. Memorial Day weekend is going to mean a much bigger demand therefore much higher prices especially if booking late. There may be some discount codes out there, but be prepared to pay quite a bit more due to the reasons I listed.
I prefer Hertz over other rental companies. I'm not sure about getting the gold membership. I have the 'Presidents Circle' #1 but be aware that they operate the scheme in the US and Europe separately so may not recognise a UK membership in the US - I recall getting them to modify mine somehow at the counter in Miami but still don't think EU ...
