I prefer to sit up high since I drive a truck, and so I would choose the SUV, but the note about security of your belongings is also valid and if I were transporting a lot of stuff and didn't have a tinted back window I would choose the Caddy.

   Pre-Covid, we needed to return our Alamo rental on a Saturday afternoon. We were able to return it at the Sheraton Black Rock. They had an Alamo/Enterprise desk. We left our time-punched parking ticket on the dashboard & dropped the keys in a secure key box. In 4+ decades of travel to Maui, we haven't had issues with car rentals.
