And if you grab a copy of the local free publication called Charleston City Paper, you'll find some advertising on specials and happy hours of restaurants for a quick bite. The top rated ones don't offer discounts.

I also found a single reference to St John at Maho Bay that offered a 5th night free and other retail coupons. The book was $79 this past November and the current edition is $49. This book is a for-profit venture.
