There is also a large IGA in Hinton - I prefer it over Safeway... I think the prices are better in general, but I do occasionally shop the sales at both of them.
1. Re: Grocery shopping. The closest grocery store to you would be the Food Basics on McLeod Rd. at Dorchester Rd. or, just a little bit farther at McLeod and Oakwood Dr., is a Walmart Supercentre. We often cross the border to go to grocery stores in Niagara Falls, NY ., mostly for items that are not available in Canada.
