   9 years ago. IIRC, the Expedia "Bargain Fare" requires that you fly in a steamer trunk, placed in the hold. Even so, that could afford more legroom, than many cheap airline seats, and you will likely not be exposed to the airline food. Just take plenty of water, and a sweater. Fly safely, Hunt.

   For the most part this is true. However some international flights it is a lot cheaper to book a package thru Expedia. I was going from U.S to Asia one year and the price for two people with hotel was around $2500 with Expedia. But had I booked directly with that same airline it would have been $2000 a person.
