    We(a family of 4) are traveling to Japan on June 1st for a 2 week trip. We read that the Welcome Suica card is a convenient option as it is accepted in Greater Tokyo and other areas in addition to covering the Narita express train from Tokyo to Shinjunku. However, it appears that the cards are not easily available due to a global chip shortage.
