1 year ago. My family of 4 with a small dog are going to drive to NYC from Canada by car. At first we want to stay in Manhattan near Times Square for convenience and vibe. However, we can't seem to find any hotel/garage parking with in/out privilege in Manhattan or nearby areas (except for hotels in NJ, Long Island /Queens and airport area).
Answer 1 of 2: Will be driving in and staying at the club quarters WTC. Looking for a garage close by with in and out privileges. Will be driving upstate during the stay and do not intend of driving around NYC per se. Prefer to book online in advance.

I'd actually look a bit south to some of the lots near the piers in the west 50's and 60's, via the best parking (link above) because that is a more "industrial" less residential area. The problem with a larger vehicle is that few, if any, garages in NYC are self park.
Secaucus Junction and Port Imperial, both in NJ, are the most common suggestions. Secaucus is expensive to park at, but has frequent and cheap trains into the city. Port Imperial has much more affordable parking, but you would need to take a ferry to Manhattan, which is more money per person. 3.
Answer 1 of 3: I need to be in the Midtown West area and for various reasons cannot park on the street. Is there one site which has coupons for discount parking regardless the operator, or do you have to go to the site of each individual company?
The 15-20 minute train ride into Penn Station in Manhattan (W. 34th St. & 7th Ave -- across the street from Macy's, close to the Empire State Building, 1 subway stop from Times Square) costs just $5.75 round-trip on weekends/non-rush hours on weekdays or 6.50 roundtrip during peak times on weekdays.
