The Cartoon Art Museum on the Waterfront is Worth a Visit. Oct 2019. Lovers of the Marvel comics or movies along with lovers of 1960 and 70s cartoons like Scooby-Doo will love this place. The permanent collection features more than 7,000 pieces, including original animation cells, comic book pages, anime, and more.
The Museum of Comic & Cartoon Art is a small museum on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. I was able to find it quite easily. It is not a particularly grand museum and could easily be mistaken for a regular house in the street. Within the museum there are three floors of comic/cartoon art with some superb illustrations from the ages.
Come here to see the history of comics, funny papers, editorial commentary. Multiple galleries and a library; comfortable and spacious. Located on the Oval,near the Ohio State University Union. One can spend one hour or more, as schedule permits. A must-see destination at Ohio State/ central Ohio.
