They generally have their wits about them and all those I have seen either have had an ear clipped or have a tag of some description indicating that a vet has neutered them. Actually no dogs allowed. But some people wrongfully ignore the signs. Dogs are usually not allowed on some trails out of concern for wildlife in the area and spread of disease. People don't understand this and wrongfully think it is for the safety of their pet. Their should be more education but the rangers are understaffed.
