Reviewed April 23, 2021. Whatever you do, do not rent from Dollar Car Rental!! They have the worst customer service I have ever seen from a company in my life. You are much better taking ubers or public transport. First, we had to wait 2 and a half hours after our reservation time in order to get our vehicle that was RESERVED.

This company does not care about its customers, there is no customer service. All in all with the changes for this rental car, my Lyft, and the returned certified letter this experience cost me approximately $900 for a 3-day rental. By far the worst customer experience I have ever had. Stay away from this company!
Got ripped off at the Dollar in New Orleans. I paid for the car rental part when booked with rentalcars.com and was to pay the taxes and fees at the counter of $95. I paid the $95 at the counter. When I got home I found an additional charge on my card for $76 for the same taxes and fees.

Would I go to Dollar again, I was happy with the car, I was happy with the after care customer service, but paying for a more expensive rental to negate a CC as I thought well I’d rather go to Alamo and get a choice of any vehicle from the lot.
