Review of Lake Steam Baths Reviewed December 8, 2022 I appreciate that there are places like Lake Steam Baths, where men and women (although not together, since there are no coed days at this spa) can relax in the nude, without judgement, and take advantage of a relaxing environment.
Forget the fancy spas deals. If you want a fantastic steam bath, sauna and hot tub, the Lake Steam Bath is the place to come. You can stay all day for $18. Massages, salt scrubs, reflexology and other treatments are available and are VERY reasonably priced. The lady who does the salt scrubs, Mercy, is superb.
Kathi Fentress, Help for Health Spa is one of the best health spas I have ever been. Kathi is a wonderful woman with vast health knowledge. I spent a few hours at the spa between a colonic, the Cryosauna, the Infrared sauna, the Vacustep, the Turbosonic, and the Spa Capsule.

Here you are REQUIRED to shower and clean up, so as not to foul up the communal naked baths. There are boiling hot baths, ice cold baths, and lukewarm baths for the sissies. After this portion, you enter the dressed portion, where you are provided with a pepto bismal pink gym uniform. It is not pretty or flattering.

After lunch, I decided to get the accupressure massage. It's not for the weak. But it was good. After that I sort of wondered around the facility, checking out different sauna rooms, the sleeping rooms and the movie theater. Then I decided to get the V-Steam. It's pretty cool (well not really cause there is steam going up your vagina, lol).
Men & Women's facilities are separate for use of wet spaces but communal for use of the dry rooms ie salt, ice, clay. The women's locker room is lovely and offers all of the complimentary touches you'd expect from a gorgeous spa such as Tikkun ie mouthwash, hairdryers, make up wipes, hand & body cream etc...all the essentials.
