    It's off season, but the visitors' center reported 7500 snow geese, 5000 Canada geese, and 2500 tundra swans. When the snow geese fly, it looks like a blizzard. The best times to be there are before 7:00 AM and around 4:00 PM. During the height of the migrations, it can be hard to get to.

    Went March 2022 for the Snow Geese Migration. I am a photographer and this place is absolutely eye candy for anyone who loves nature and wildlife. Snow Geese migration was mind-blowing seeing thousands and thousands of geese flying. Many geese, ducks, raptors, kingfishers--you name it, it was there.

    Must visit place for bird viewing especially snow geese I took a ride to Middle Creek Wildlif Area to see the snow geese. I have heard of this place but WOW! A half mile away in the parking lot and all you can hear is their LOUD honking. Then ONE EAGLE flies close and around 65,000 snow geese are off in a tizzy.

    We visited Middle Creek on March 2 and March 9. This is my third year visiting during the winter bird migration. The number of snow geese, tundra swans, and canadian geese are quite impressive. At one point, all of the snow geese went up into the air and flew around before landing in the same spot they started.
