The car and service was fine but 3 weeks afterwards I received a letter at home in the Netherlandclaiming 23 US$ of toll and 6x15 US$ admin fee. I had the same experience with Thrifty when renting at the Denver Airport location. I rented a car for 3 days at the end of November 2018 and, at the end of January 2019, I continue to receive invoices from Thrifty for toll fees. So far, Thrifty has billed me for a total of $21.45 in toll fees - two at $4.50 and three at $4.15.
Aaagghhh! Do not use rental cars, or do not use toll roads in a rental car. Not all transponders work in every state, so don't count on your own transponder working in another locale. All rental car companies--not just Thrifty-- will charge fees if you use a toll road without their transponder.

I was ripped off my Thrifty Car Rental Company in Denver for the dreaded Toll Road Scam. $15 per toll, each toll was only $3-4, so I $12 in tolls, ended up $45 in fees. for a total detriment of $57 in fees.
