9 years ago. I just rented from Fox rental car in Denver and never will again. The customer service rep I had was extremely rude. When we said we didn't want any extras they shoved the keys toward us an sent us on our way. When we got the car it was filthy to where you couldn't even look out of the window.

That said, most rental companies have fees if you drop the rental at a different location than where you picked it up. Sounds like you also had the car longer than planned.

I flew into Denver Saturday for an afternoon Avalanche hockey game. I left plenty of time for picking up the car and getting to the game. Upon arrival, the wait was aprox 20 min to get to the counter.
However, the 1-1/4 hour wait at the service desk to get a car with 50 other people was completely unbearable. Everyone in the rental place was miserable. 4. Re: Warning - Fox Car Rental at Denver Airport. 5 years ago. Only go with majors and warnings all over TA about toll charges. We rent from DIA about once a year and always use Enterprise or Hertz. Join loyalty programs and book direct using any discounts. Never take highway 470 around airport.
