Thank you KatD & Tooley for the quick responses! We have a group of two families - two parents & three kids a piece. Thus, the 'Dads' will likely head out to Costco after checking into the Hotel given that it is closer in proximity to Cabo rather than stopping on the way from the airport - especially with six kids in tow, it may get a bit dicey after the plane trip!!

There is a great bakery at the Soriana grocery store at a mall just across highway 307 , just west of Juarez beside a Sam's club. I have seen special occasion cakes there , sold by the kilo , that can be made as fancy as you like .
About 50% of the items at Cabo Costco are the same as in the US. Yes, they have the same roaster chickens and they are delicious at Costco Cabo. Store layout is exactly the same as US. In general Costco Cabo is a bit more expensive than Costco in US. For exmple a Costco hot dog/drink is $1.50 in the US and $1.80 in Cabo.
Grocery Shopping/Costco. 13 years ago. Before you ask, yes I have searched the forums :) but some is outdated and I wanted to ask a few questions. Any advice is greatly appreciated. We will be in Cancun next month. There are 6 of us, staying in a villa at Westin Lagunamar for 1 week.
Answer 1 of 11: Are there any particular items that make a trip to Costco worthwhile over just picking up things from Chedraui? Does the Sam's in Playa do day passes?
