   Returning a rental car on a Sunday. 10 years ago. Hello, we are looking to arrive in New York on Sunday, July 27. In talking with Enterprise, they are telling me a lot of rental car agencies are either closed on Sunday or close at 1:00 pm so we'll have to return the car at LaGuardia. That seems ridiculous.

What I don’t like about Hertz, they charge you each and every day of the rental, even if you never go through another toll. The max is $24 or so, but it’s just flat out wrong.

   Thus, under the terms of the program, if you rent a car for 5 days and on the 5th day you use your EZ Pass, you are charged an extra $24.75 administrative fee for five days, more than twice the most expensive toll in the NYC area. My issue is that these costs are not disclosed immediately because of the way Hertz issues rental contracts.

   Answer 1 of 3: We are visiting Manhattan in Oct. Will spend a week In NYC, then renting a car in Manhattan and driving to PA to visit friends. Will be driving back and dropping off the car (at JFK parking) for a 7:30 flight out of JFK.
