   They are offering additional Total Coverage for $16 a day that includes 0% deductible, medical expenses, and etc on their site. However Priceline has the same car at Mex Rent A Car at 1/3 of the price. Although Priceline offers their insurance, I read to not go with a 3rd party policy because it does not cover Mexico.

   I always book through priceline.com. I have a reservation for this weekend through AVIS for a full size car. Pick-up tomorrow night and returning on Tuesday. Total price for the 4 days with tax is $100.20 ($60 for the car and $40.20 in fees/taxes) I bid $15 dollars on a Full size and it was accepted. You can probably bid even less on a smaller car.

   I attempted to rent a car from Priceline, had trouble connecting to the site. When I arrived at Budget Rental Car I had 2 bookings for the same date/car. I attempted to resolve by calling customer service located in Philippines. Refused to issue a refund though they admitted to not having sent a confirmation email for the first rental.
