Then I got to the Economy Rent a Car affiliate, JET CAR RENTAL at 3356 Elm Bank Road. This is another story. At this location they asked me to pay as well $ 5 a day + taxes (for 30 days) for “using my Credit Card insurance”. I declined their insurance when I booked with Hotwire because my Credit Card provides coverage.
I just rented a car for 7 days with Dollar through Car rentals.com. I'll be paying $185 with all fees included for a standard size car. I have also used Hotwire in the past and have an excellent experience every time. They do ask for a credit card to pay for incidentals that might occur so maybe that is why the other poster felt he was paying ...
