7. Re: International to Domestic connection in DIA. 4 years ago. You do have a bit of a benefit using Southwest as your connection, but this is still a somewhat risky plan. With most airlines, if you miss a flight on your itinerary the entire itinerary is canceled. Southwest is more flexible in allowing you to use the ticket.

Denver Airport is huge. You walk from the gate to the center of concourse C. Could be a relatively short walk. Could be long depending on gate. Escalator or elevator down to the train. Off the train up an escalator to the arrivals/baggage area. You need to pick east or west for who us picking you up. Then out the door to where pick ups are.

You get directly routed to customs and immigration and get out of that process on level 5. Near baggage claim, but you'll get bags before coming through customs.
