They just refuse to read the sign. We have 3/$10 6pk bottles of pop right now. Some lady comes up to SCO and tells me that her pop isn't ringing right. She has 3 of the 12pk cans. Now I didn't know the sale at the time, so I went back there to check the sign thinking maybe a digital coupon was needed. Nope.
This is spot on. I've hosted about 3 garage sales now, and beforehand I was an avid garage sale shopper so I learned a lot about what makes a good sign. I get about 4-5 neon yellow colored poster boards and cut them in half. The only information that goes on the signs is "Garage sale [street name + number]" and a directional arrow.
My office has metal yard signs available in the office for $42/each. I'm pretty sure they order them through Oakley Signs. Honestly, it’s worth the money to buy metal signs and frames if you plan to stay in the business. I’ve used metal riders and signboards in my frames for years and have very few issues.

Toss 2/3 of cosmetics minimum.
A couple tips to wouldbe garage sale hosts: You don't need huge elaborate signs with times or addresses. Just put up your "sale" signs with a big arrow on it. Make your signs bright too. The times of your sale, are the times you have your signs up. Take your signs down when you are done hosting a sale that day.
Well, I recently joined a young shop to help grow production capabilities. I actually ran my own shop for many years and saw this company start up, started using them for fulfillment, and eventually they convinced me to join to help them grow and manage production.
It makes it easier for people to park at showings, and it brings you buyers personally. I would suggest if you don't put up a sign putting up something in the window so people know they're at the right house or you're going to occasionally get people trying to break into his neighbors thinking that is the house. 8.
The signs aren’t cheap, they’re $40 each. They’re not stealing them, they’re taking them and throwing them away. This is it. People put open house and garage sale signs on my property since I live on a semi-busy street.
Any other tips regarding garage/yard sales are welcome, thanks! Legally, the only place is on private property with permission of the owner. Or, get your 12 year old teenager to dance and wave a sign at the nearest intersection. Poles are not OK. Try calling 303-776-6050, the main city number, ask for code enforcement.
