Thanks. It appears there's no AAA discount on Hertz right now except for weekend and weekly rentals (I'm renting for 4 weekdays). Hertz has a 25% off discount coupon code, but it only allows one CDP code, so it won't let me enter my AAA information to get the free second driver.
Used our AA Membership (the automobile one - not the alcoholic one!) and received 10% discount. £287 for a week rental. On the Ryanair website just now, a link to Hertz indicates "Pay for 5 days & get 2 days free" Obviously I had a peep in the hope of getting a better deal.
The T&C's for that CDP code cleary states: * Offer only valid if purchased using Visa Classic and quoting CDP 618583 (Classic) at time of reservation to receive their discount

Save. HI, I just booked our rental car for our July 2016 2-week trip to Irelan. I wanted to pass along a few ways to get discounts. We are AAA members and our AAA discount was able to get us a 10% discount for a 13 day rental. When you book your car, use your AAA CDP code in the CDP# field or tell the agent that you are AAA.
