Answer 1 of 5: Is google maps reliable ( if we have service) we'll have T-mobile or is there a better way to get the correct miles and time from one place to the other? Also, if no service, what should we pay for extra for the rental?
i use google maps all the time, they are especially good for avoiding traffic delays e.g. taking the back roads around christchurch at peak time. I find them really helpful for directions. The timings can be a bit low, but they are a great place to start, and just add on a bit extra time for each drive,

Google maps shows two routes from St. Louis to Destin, Fl with almost equal times and distances. One is I-55 South through Memphis, TN and the other is through Nashville, TN I would like to maximize the use of Interstates and 4-lane highways and minimize the use of 2-lane roads.
6. Re: Pacific Highway 1 - Google maps. 5 years ago. You can easily add waypoints to force Google maps to take the route you want, although you can only add so many, (ten I believe). Anyway you can type in the city or you can do a map search so you just put the X on Highway one and hit save.
