    In two weeks I have flights booked through American Airlines to fly from Kansas City-Chicago-Madrid. The Kansas City-Chicago flight is simply through AA. It takes off at 9:30am and arrive around 10:30am in Chicago. The Chicago-Madrid flight is a codeshare with Iberia airlines. It takes off at 4:40pm and arrives in Madrid at 7:45am local time.

    6 years ago. Save. When I fly on codeshares I check in with the airlineof the first flight, and generally receive all my boarding passes then. An exception is when airlinestaff needs to physically see your passport before issuing a boarding pass. In that case you should receive all your boarding passes at the first airport.

    The flights were all booked via american airlines however the flights to Orlando are a ‘code share’. The first flight is from Dublin to London Gatwick (Aer Lingus) then have 1 hr and 20 min gap before our flight from London Gatwick to Orlando international (British Airways).
