I have a booking starting 18th July and I emailed them with the code and my booking reference number. They modified the booking and initiated a refund of the discount amount in no time.
Renting a car for only 1 or 2 days at the casinos is always higher than the rates at the airport. You'll be hard pressed to find a 1 day rental for much less than $60 as you did. If you're staying for the week, I just reserved a compact from Dollar for just under $140 for the whole week.
