234 reviews. 194 helpful votes. 1. Re: City Club. 11 years ago. I only went once, and I wasn't impressed. Only two kinds of yogurt, limited produce selection, double gallons of milk, limited selection of cereals. Maybe it has improved, but I prefer going to Walmart or Soriana.
City Club is only a few blocks away and could certainly be walked (without supplies). You can buy a one day membership to the City Club (a $ or 2). Yes, City Club is walking distance and will suffice if all you need is alcohol, snacks and a few things in bulk, if you will mainly be eating your meals out. Otherwise, Sorianos is so much better. They have the best yogurts anywhere and sadly, yogurts I can't get in the states. Fabulous coffee (wish I could buy it in US) and a grinder.
