Only once was there a fairly long line to get through security - which took about half an hour or 40 minutes in that instance - Normal by your TSA standards. Ludicrous in most other places!! ;-) However there were airline staff working the queue to make sure people with tight connections were escorted to the front and processed quickly.
Transfer from an international flight to another international flight by using the same airline (single ticket) requires an absolute minimum of 1 hour at the transit area. I recommend at least 1.5 hours. Transfer from a domestic flight to an international flight (same or different airlines) requires a minimum of 2 hours.
