Depends on the company and the terms of the rental. Under some there is a 'drop off' fee, which can be as high as $125. Others no fee, but the weekly rate is higher. Most of the large companies [I use Hertz] have free drop-off within the state of FL and I do it often. The low priced folks may well have the drop-off fee.

Thus I am thinking if it is a hassle to pick a car rental that is off airport (shuttle to rental location)... I am exploring either VIP car rental or Eurocars.
