   The grocery store prices in Aruba are a little like that, too. Some (beer, wine, and snacks) seem higher than in the U.S. and others (cheese, yogurt) are only slightly more. I do remember looking at their site a couple of times though and thought the prices ran high but I suppose you are paying for the convenience.

   When we went to the grocery stores later, seemed like we paid about the same. We got everything we ordered, cept they were out of two items. No substitutions. We didn't have a car, didn't wanna deal with carrying groceries for 4 for a week on the bus, and didn't wanna pay for a taxi. It was cheaper to use Groceries to Go.

   Looking at their website I'd say most of their prices are ridiculous. ( Quick example, $12.65 for a 3 liter cranberry juice versus $5.49 at my local store.)
