Answered: When using Priceline or Hotwire or the like, it says rental car returns have to go back to the airport. Is this accurate? So if I want to rent a car at the airport, then return it on the Strip, do I have to do that through the rental company?
Mindy, I've got a full size rental car booked with Alamo for Nascar Week, dates March 2- 8. The rates go up and down as You know, but I am now paying $140.82 (out the door). I started a topic about Alamo lowering prices (can't guarantee they are lower at this moment) but they were last night, and posted a $40 coupon.
17 years ago. I just used Priceline to rent a car for my March trip. The prices on Expedia, Travelocity and the individual rental sites were running about $255 for seven days. I named my own price, and ended up with a rental for seven days for $150. IMO, there's no reason not to use Priceline for rental cars.

I would suggest looking around at the specials available with rental agencies to get a good feel of what the cars are going for. If you go to Dollar.com and click the SPECIALS tab, you can enter the promo code 234 for a nice discount. I booked using this code and got a deal cheaper than I could get through Priceline.
