Answer 1 of 12: My 19 y.o. daughter and I are traveling to Japan for two weeks from the US on US passports. As I understand it, that means we do not need a visa, but we do need to fill out information on Visit Japan Web.
4. Re: Visit Japan customs and immigration QR codes. 1 year ago. If you have access to a computer its very simple. Just log on to japan web and navigate to the qr codes. On the page displaying the qr code just right click in the browser window and choose print. You can also save as pdf and print the pdf.

Nov 10, 2023, 5:55 PM. I never took personal photo with the Visit Japan web. You generate the QR codes by clicking on the links that say "Display my QR code", after you have clicked on your trip on the main login page. You do not "receive" the codes by email. Edited: 5:56 pm, November 10, 2023.

On TA People say you need three QR codes, which would indicate you also need a QR code for the quarantine step. The last time we went to Japan in November, both at immigration and customs, they had to scan our QR codes. I don't know if you can get through them without QR codes or not, but if you have them, your entry will be more smooth for certain. Filling VJW is not complicated. I just did it for the second time yesterday and my data was there already.
