Answer 1 of 12: My 19 y.o. daughter and I are traveling to Japan for two weeks from the US on US passports. As I understand it, that means we do not need a visa, but we do need to fill out information on Visit Japan Web.
4. Re: Visit Japan customs and immigration QR codes. 1 year ago. If you have access to a computer its very simple. Just log on to japan web and navigate to the qr codes. On the page displaying the qr code just right click in the browser window and choose print. You can also save as pdf and print the pdf.

2. Re: Accessing QR codes from the Visit Japan site. Nov 10, 2023, 4:19 PM. You should be able to access them by going on to the site and clicking on the planned entry you created them for. You will then see listed Disembarkation Card for Foreigner and Declaration of Personal Effects and Unaccompanied Articles.
Nov 10, 2023, 5:55 PM. I never took personal photo with the Visit Japan web. You generate the QR codes by clicking on the links that say "Display my QR code", after you have clicked on your trip on the main login page. You do not "receive" the codes by email. Edited: 5:56 pm, November 10, 2023.
Now with only 1 QR code, you have to do your own passport scan between immigration and customs. Customs is apparently done by facial recognition. You just walk through an automatic gate without any officer physically inspecting your passport. I have always used screen capture of the QR code. Edited: 3:10 am, April 02, 2024.
