For me Google Maps and GPS both worked. I would advise going to the area from the Northeast Side - Jordan Run Road if you want start your hiking in the higher part of the wilderness. The Northeast side is more scenic and if it has rained a bit the lower elevation southwest side hikes will probably be pretty wet.
