53 posts. 1. Re: Hotwire car rental. 14 years ago. Last Time I was in Vegas (July 09) I used Hotwire for my rental car. It worked out just fine. I did see other people having trouble that used Hotwire but it was due to the fact they wanted to change what type of car they where renting. I just booked a midsize through Hotwire and that's what I got.
10 years ago. I use Hotwire often for renting in Vegas as well. The Special is that they guarantee you will get a mid size or above for that price. My experience has been whatever cars they have the most of the people aren't selecting (usual mini vans) is what you end up with.
I have used Hotwire a ton of times for rental cars, and love it. Little better than priceline even. Several times in Vegas, ALL good experiences. Highly recommend using a service like Hotwire, Priceline or Costco for rental cars. Good luck and happy travels! Report inappropriate content. Eve921.

Answer 1 of 6: I am thinking of using Hotwire to rent a car. I have specified the location as "Las Vegas, NV - (LAS)." When the search is done, the location for each offer is described as "varies by rental agency."
Answer 1 of 9: I am in the process of making decisions for my upcoming trip in June. I am trying to get the best rate for a car rental. Hotwire right now has the best rates.
