Small but very good museum. The guided tour in English was outstanding. Can not recommend enough. For the price of a coffee or two in any EU capital city, our guide Yevgeniye regaled us with stories of battles, wars and their Ukrainian heroes, for over an hour. His knowledge and excellent English made the visit very memorable.

May 2017 • Solo. The Golden Gate is one of the original 11th century entrances to the city of Kievan-Rus. Built by Yaroslav the Wise this was part of the original upper city fortifications. It has a small museum, places to get great views and pictures of the city, and the monument to Yaroslav the Wise just outside.
