The skates are in horrible shape with frayed laces. It costs everyone $25 just to get in. This is regardless of if you are skating or just watching. The former reduced spectator fee is gone, so if you just want to watch your child skate, you’ll have to pay full price. The skate rental fee is $10.

Wollman closed the ice rink on 30th Nov due to bad weather. Ive sent numerous email, tweets, etc to try to get a refund but had no reply from them what so ever. Its been over 2 weeks since my first contact and nothing. Seems they have no customer service what so ever. Unable to call as from the UK. Literally no one gets back to you at all.
By that time you can see the rink and follow the paths around to the entrance. I've done that winding path from CPS which is a little scary at night but probably safe enough and, yeah, there are places where you have to pick a direction so good luck.
