10. Re: Asian Spirit airlines and Boracay. 16 years ago. Caticlan Airport has a very short runway, and only a few types of commercial passenger airplanes can take off or land there. Asian Spirit uses mostly DHC Dash-7 aircraft on the Manila -Caticlan flights. They are not no to be sure, but they are sturdy planes.
