Google maps is great for this kind of stuff. Just go to google.com and select "maps" and you can plot the driving or walking distance between just about any 2 places. Public transportation options too, in a lot of places. So....7 minutes. About a third of a mile. 2. Re: Walking distance to Bourbon Street.
1. Re: Google Maps walking times. First, use the subway. If you choose to walk, I would add 10 minutes for short distances and 20+ minutes for long distances, just to be safe. Once you start to understand how long it takes you to walk from A to B across streets/avenues, then you can adjust.
