Answer 1 of 7: I reserved a Minivan for Vegas March 17-20 with Promo Code TARR from Dollar. I've been reading on different websites that this promo code is only good when renting in Florida and a few people said its for travel agents only.
Dollar rental car and plate pass. We are flying in from U.K. on 19th October and picking up a rental car for 15 days with Dollar. We will spend 1 day at Fort Lauderdale on the beach and then drive up the Florida Turnpike for 2 weeks then back to Miami Airport to fly home. Is it worth us buying the plate pass from Dollar or what else can we do?

4. Re: Dollar car rental prepaid gas- is this normal? 11 years ago. Save. Its not just the Dollar, Budget tried to get me with the "you've travel less than 75miles" clause where they charge a flat $13.95 to refill the tank. FYI I refilled it, all $2.25 worth and they still tried to bill me for it.

The last time we used platepass with Dollar was for a rental at Sanford. We hummed and hawed about the cost and actually taking it in front of the rental agent and got it for $19.99 a week which we used to the max.
Tons of codes on Mousesavers.com. Go under transportation info, then under the rental car info, it gives codes for most rental companies at the airport. I just used one for Budget and saved alot. I think it was the Walmart code. I got a Red Mustang for 10 days for $276. that was with all taxes included.
