Thanks. It appears there's no AAA discount on Hertz right now except for weekend and weekly rentals (I'm renting for 4 weekdays). Hertz has a 25% off discount coupon code, but it only allows one CDP code, so it won't let me enter my AAA information to get the free second driver.

On the Ryanair website just now, a link to Hertz indicates "Pay for 5 days & get 2 days free" Obviously I had a peep in the hope of getting a better deal. Guesss what - same car, same dates and the usual terms and conditions is €329.93 which includes the 2 day free rental!! Over €50 extra which is supposed to have given 2 days free rental.

They recently move the Hertz desk from the elevators banks at both towers to the former slot club booth. Check with hotel security to see if this has changed in the past week.
depends when you drive to LA and will it be a one day drive or broken up into a two or three day drive. Rent on the weekend starting Thursday noon to Monday is a lower rate.
